“The World Water Day was very well though out and was very engaging. All the speakers did amazing and I can say for everyone that it was a big success. All the people that joined the zoom learned a lot about water scarcity and water issues around the world. Overall this program was great!”

“Lack of water is an extreme threat to mankind and our ecosystem today so in order to raise awareness we celebrated World Water day virtually on March 21st 2021. Can we value water highly enough? It is critical, not in financial terms but with regard to food, human health & ecosystem. I learned so much about water through games and speakers. One of the speakers Dr Roger told us that 1 in 10 people don’t have access to safe drinking  water and 1 in 4 people don’t have access to safe sanitation services. I find it very eye opening. These are the things we take for granted. I helped developing water quiz & introducing our guest speaker. Spread awareness on water conversation. Save water Save life.”

“I learned so much about the importance of water and the role it plays in my everyday life thanks to our very educated speakers from the World Water Conference. I am glad that I got to play a part in the conference too by organizing a Kahoot. I learned about how people are not as fortunate as me and have to walk miles to get water everyday and about how water is the most important resource on earth. This conference was definitely worthwhile and I would recommend everyone to listen in next year!”

Aslesha Pathak

“The world water conference was immensely eye opening and informative. It brought light to the water crisis and the importance of water. I helped organize a video where we could hear what people in our community thought water meant to them. We were also able to listen to different speakers and different perspectives on water conservation. The conference inspired us to take action against the water crisis and participate in water conservation. This experience was very educative and valuable. I enjoyed being able to participate in the world water conference of 2021!”

Shaunak Gaiki

“The World Water Conference was a great learning opportunity. I got a chance to listen to many experienced and educated speakers that provided a lot of insight on water in general. This conference really opened my eyes to the water related issues around the world and how critical it is to preserve this natural resource that’s necessary for our life. I got to create and organize the Kahoot for the conference to help people review important information about water. Spreading the word about the conference within my network also gave me another  opportunity to spread the awareness about water related issues. I am definitely looking forward to this conference next year!”

“I am so grateful to have been apart of the World Water Day Conference! I definitely learned a lot about not only how water is used in different places, but also its importance to everyone's survival. All the speakers that came to talk about their experiences with different water crisises were very engaging and transferred their message very clearly.  For this year's conference(2020-2021), I contributed by creating slides on the importance of water, of which was shown during the conference. I also closed the conference with a few words. I hope to be apart of next year's World Water Day Conference, and i hope that even more people will be inspired to join as well!”
